The
Safety Jess & Leash System
This system is
becoming extremely popular nowadays. It consists
of jesses with punched ends, which cannot get hung
up and a leash terminated in a brass swivel clip
with stainless steel spring. This system offers
the following advantages:

- Simple to use.
- No need to
change jesses for flying.
- No knots to
tie (or for bird to untie).
- No need to
restrain bird by jesses only.
- Easy to slip
bird at quarry.
- Wrist end is
always secure.
- In the
unlikely event of the bird getting loose, it
does so with 'safe' jesses in place.
- Lower cost
- The bird
cannot pull out the Aylmeri jesses &
dump them (as did a Buzzard we once had, the
instant it was flown free!)
